InsurePride is a network for employees of insurance firms and affiliates in Australia to connect, share specialized LGBTQIA+ inclusion thought leadership, best practice, impacts and issues relevant to the insurance industry.
Our commitment is to our community and our allies, for members to provide thought leadership and champion change for the Insurance industry. InsurePride is made up of LGBTQ+ and ally insurance industry professionals, partners and affiliates who come together to uplift the industry for staff, customers and community. InsurePride will leverage member lived and professional experience to share knowledge and resources to support and uplift each other as a preferred industry of choice.

By sharing best practice LGBTQIA+ inclusion, InsurePride works to ensure member organisations’ policy and processes make our industry one of choice for employment to attract and retain diverse skilled talent.
Connections and Community
We create a safe space for members to connect, network, develop and grow. InsurePride provides support where needed through our network of industry colleagues, and support leadership coaching/mentoring.
To shine the light on critical community and industry issues for the LGBTQIA+ community, InsurePride collaborates and showcases best practice standards for the insurance industry, to lift each other up as a whole.
Advocacy & Support
Championing industry improvements, legislative reform and greater support for LGBTQIA+ staff and customers, InsurePride works towards uplifting the industry to make it safer, more inclusive and more welcoming for all of our community.

Site is live!

After a small delay, the foundations are now laid and live for the InsurePride website as a part of the 2023 strategy!
The site is in its infancy but over the coming weeks anticipate more content, resources and Industry updates. We’re looking forward to so much more to come for InsurePride in 2023.
Expressions of interest will be sent out in the coming weeks for our members to work with InsurePride on opportunities to share insight, experience and showcase what work is going on in your respective spaces, to help celebrate the wins of our members and uplift the industry as a whole.
